What's easier for you?
It is often said that it is easier to hate someone you used to love than it is to love someone you hate. This may be because when we love someone, we have a deep connection with them and feel vulnerable. When that love is not returned or is betrayed, it can be easier to turn that love into hate as a way of protecting ourselves from further hurt.
On the other hand, loving someone we hate can be difficult because it goes against our natural instincts. We may not have a strong connection with the person and may not feel vulnerable, but trying to love them goes against our feelings and can be challenging.
Ultimately, whether it is easier to hate someone you love or love someone you hate depends on the individual and the situation. Some people may find it easier to hate someone they used to love, while others may find it easier to love someone they hate. It is important to remember that both love and hate are strong emotions and can be difficult to navigate, no matter the situation.
What do you think is easier?
love someone you hate? OR
Hate someone you love?
Quote of the week
To be someone's best friend requires a minimum investment of time. More than that, though, it takes emotional energy. Caring about someone deeply is exhausting.”
